At one point he unfurled a Nazi banner that he had pulled off of a building after removing a portrait of Hitler " with his pistol". It was disturbing for me to even see the banner held up
In front of us, but so important to hear him talk about the evil that it represented.
We will not have these WW II veterans with us for many more years. It is important to remember.
